Neighbor to Neighbor / Spring into Giving

About the Event

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, May 13 from 4 to 7 p.m. for Midway Manor’s Neighbor to Neighbor business/organization fair and the Meals on Wheels Spring into Giving

food drive (1302 N Sherman St).

This is the 4th year that MMCA is joining Meals on Wheels for a fun evening of getting out and meeting neighbors and friends throughout the Lehigh Valley while helping to restock the

Emergency Food Boxes that were depleted during the past winter.

While you are there, you can visit the business and organization fair.

Confirmed businesses and organizations (as of March 16) are:  AARP of

Pennsylvania, American Red Cross “Sound the Alarm” (free smoke detectors and

installation), Allentown Public Library, City of Allentown Recycling and Solid Waste,

Allentown Crime Watch (8th Ward Neighborhood Group), Coldwell Banker

Hearthside Realtors (Midway Manor’s own Eddie Moussa, agent), DS Electrical

(electrician), MTH Works General Contracting (Midway Manor’s own Marcus Howard,

contractor), LV Center for Independent Living (Midway Manor’s own Julianna

Rodrigues, coordinator of Community Inclusion for Young Children), Lehigh County

Special Olympics and Midway Manor Sports Program (Coach Amelia Rivers-

Batres).

Last year we had over 30 vendors. This year, we are hoping for even more.

If you (or someone you know) own a small local business or belong to an organization

you would like to showcase, please send your information to

MMCANeighbor2Neighbor@gmail.com by April 15 . There is NO participation fee but

space is limited. Bring your own table and chairs.

Crafters, home and auto services, lawn care, home based businesses (cosmetics, fragrances, food) are just a few suggestions. (Multiple methods to sign up are below)
